75-80% of stomach removed. 60-70% excess weight loss in 12-18 months. Irreversible.
Gastric Bypass (Roux-en-Y)
Stomach reduced + small bowel bypassed. 70-80% excess weight loss. Stronger diabetes remission. Lifetime vitamin supplementation.
